@THOMSOTRON I’m convinced that my brain has energy reserves that only work when I lay down, and exclusively for worrying about things I can’t control.

@5tern1 I just wanted to express how my ADHD keeps my head thinking all the time even though I want to relax. It's not like I think only ADHD causes this. I know many of us suffer from the same thing, whichever neurospice we are. But I also think that there are people that have less of a hard time relaxing.
I really didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or make fun of someone or exclude someone or anything. If I did by mistake, I apologize.

@THOMSOTRON I also think there are multiple causes of not being able to rest, adhd probably causes different unrelaxed than anxiety and both of them are different from chronic pain unable to rest i guess.
My feelings didn't get hurt, I wanted to know more about your specific form of unrelaxing and how that is different from other forms.

Looks like I used words that didn't fit that intention. I apologize.

We probably all know the feeling, but also we don't know your exact feeling. At least I don't. Probably. Maybe you tell me more and i figure out its close to what I experience

@5tern1 I'm sorry. I have to explain that this was not about your response at all, you were quite clear and I understand what you wanted to talk about.
My reaction was caused by someone elses comment and it was an overreaction, mostly due to my RSD/Emotional Dysregulation. It's already better now.
Again, sorry for overreacting, I think I only confused everyone now.

To answer your question, my unrelaxing mode is like this: I try to sleep or chill, but my brain keeps bringing up thoughts and problems that it wants to think about, no matter how much I tell myself that I can think about those things after relaxing, maybe even better. This condition is not especially typical for ADHD, but with ADHD, the brains ability to estimate the importance of different problems and the ability to delay thoughts to a later time are impaired. Also it might have started to hyperfocus on a certain topic and that makes thinking about something else very difficult. As I am told by different autistic family members, it can be very similar to them, with small variations.
